SAMANTHA The platform
The platformIn development

Many ways in. One intelligent core.

SAMANTHA is being developed as a shared conversational interface for customers, teams and the organization around them.

PUBLIC CONCEPTUAL MODEL

One core. Context on every side.

01

CONVERSATION

People · Customers · Teams

02

INTELLIGENT CORE

Context · Knowledge · Models · Agents

03

GOVERNANCE

Policies · Permissions · Human oversight

04

CONNECTED WORK

Systems · Workflows · Authorized action

A simplified view of the intended architecture. Connections and capabilities require validation for each implementation.

01

Conversation is the entry point.

The intended experience begins with what a person wants to understand or accomplish. SAMANTHA’s design relates that intention to relevant context and knowledge.

02

The core connects the experience.

The platform architecture brings knowledge, policies, permissions and workflows into one shared direction. These elements are being developed and require validation in each deployment context.

03

Three experiences bring it into focus.

CX addresses the relationship with customers. Business addresses the work of people and teams. Enterprise addresses the organizational systems, knowledge and governance behind them.

A little more context

Good questions.

What does the intelligent core include?

The public platform concept brings together conversation, enterprise knowledge, context, agents, policies, permissions and workflows. This describes the architecture direction, rather than a claim that every component is production-ready.

Does SAMANTHA replace our existing applications?

The direction is to create a conversational interface to relevant knowledge and work. Any connection to existing applications would need its own technical and security assessment.

How should we evaluate the fit?

Start with a defined use case, its users, the information it needs and the decisions it may affect. Those constraints make a product discussion more useful than a broad feature checklist.
